Sea Freight

Sea freight is currently one of the cheapest transportation methods, with a relatively long transit time. International shipping companies offer two main types of services, direct and transshipment. In case of a transshipment service, the cargo is “transshipped” to another ship at an intermediate port, that results in lower freight costs and a longer transit time. Our customers can choose between full container (FCL) and collective (LCL) services.

Full Container Load (FCL)

We forward FCL sea freights under any Incoterms, and both in export and import directions. We can handle any container types (Downloads – ATS – container types). As a freight forwarder, our aim is to offer the widest possible range of solutions for each freight, taking the goods’ importance, value and safety in consideration. Due to the proximity of Koper, we prefer that port in case of sea freights, but we can also use Hamburg, Rotterdam, or any other ports, and even arrange the customs clearance at the chosen port.

Less than Container Load (LCL)

If their goods do not fill up a whole container, our customers can choose LCL shipping, instead of paying for the transportation of a full container. The actual freight cost of a collective shipment is a bit higher than the proportional ratio of the full container’s freight charge. We calculate the freight cost based on the cargo’s actual weight or volume, using the greater figure. We are the first Hungarian logistics company that offers direct LCL service from 14 main ports to Koper.
